01:53 am - Updated because Emily told me to and she is the Queen of everything... ;_;
The Good, Yet Life Changing:
- My first girlfriend! ^_^ I'm 21 but I finally found a perfect girl in Jessie.
- Metting new friends: Katie, Emily, Lisa, Jen, Dani, Reema, Scott, Jason, other Jen... etc.
- Finally picking a major and sticking with it.
- I got my Asperger's diagnosed and have become a new, more confident person.
- Metting RB peeps and PR actors at Youmacon.
The Bad:
- Too much death. My uncle died of a heart attack, one of my cats was run over, the other died suddenly, and one of my best friends committed suicide.
- I couldn't get the proper class schedule for the next semester so I'll need an extra one to graduate.
- My g/f travels too much for her job.
The Scary:
- By being diagnosed, I feel better about myself but I'm also too self aware of my problems. I'm too clingy and while I'm great at helping others with their problems, I am of no use to myself.

Those who know me can tell you that I've been a little blah the last week. Well, I know that I personally won't be getting a Christmas this year. For me, Sunday will just be another day to sit around and do nothing. But I can't let that get me down anymore. I still have a lot. Katie, Lisa, Emily, Jen and many others have come into my life as great friends. I have a loving girlfriend, and I feel good about where my studies are going with college.
So while I'm just chilling today and tomorrow while everyone else is spending time with their family, I can still force a smile on my face because I know that they are enjoying themselves. When they're happy, I'm happy.

My mom just called and said that my cat died. I don't live at home anymore so I only see her on the weekends. Apparently my little Ginger was sick yesterday. She was walking around, pacing back and forth. She never grew very large and have never meowed before. She was crying yesterday and this morning she was gone. I can't believe I'm lost her. She was the cutest thing in the world. I've had a lot of cats over the years but she was the best, always willing to run over and cuddle even when she wasn't hungry. I can't believe she's gone so suddenly. I had no idea this was coming.

Katherine Hillard. Kim, Trini, and Aisha never did anything for me. Kat has the great accent, she's tall, confident, and she deserves a great man. Rocky would have been perfect for her. Sadly, they made her Tommy's Pink Ranger Patch... he must have been going through withdrawal.
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
T.J. People revolted when he replaced the almighty Tommy. But he was the first black Red Ranger which was huge. He led a brand new team, with him being new as well. The only veteran, if you could call him that, was Justin who was just a little kid who had only been a ranger for a few months. When they were deserted and decimated, he got them into space and formed a new team. He switched to blue but he still called the shots. When Andros wanted to bring Astronema on the ship did he make an executive decision as Red Ranger? Nope. He had to convince T.J.
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't:
Tommy. Easy call here. I got sick of Mighty Morphin' TOMMY Rangers really quickly. It was all about him during seasons 2,3, and ZEO. Everyone else got screwed. He was slightly better in DT. But really, a mullet in the early 90s? What was he thinking?
4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
Rocky. And not just ZEO Rocky, but seasons 2 and 3 Rocky also. He was always the jokester and the heart of the team. People are bitter than he replaced boring old Jason as Red Ranger and say he didn't do a good job as Red Ranger. Well, by the time he got there red was just another color and Tommy was the leader. Deal with it people.
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer:
Andros. I thought he was great to start but upon looking back on Space he spent a lot less time rangering and a lot more time crying about his sister. It's okay to be emotional but be a man, dude. You have to save Zordon to protect the entire universe. You can cry about your sister LATER.

12:57 am - Maybe "Air Supply" Was Wrong...
As of late I feel like I've been trying to hard to make up for cruddy events. It's no surprise to those who know me that I dislike my family. Last year's Thanksgiving ended in yelling because basically, I can not please my uncle or grandmother. They personally insult me to the point where I don't think that they love me. I spend the week leading up to Thanksgiving this year alone in the house by myself. My girlfriend isn't around and I just have such a detached feeling.
Some of my Asperger's problems have crept back into sight. It sucks because I had pretty much totally repressed them. I went home for Thanksgiving because I couldn't stand the lonliness and had another blow up. Christmas doesn't look much better. I can't sleep well this week and finals are next week. I'm desperate for money and can't find a job. I'm at wit's end.
Seems like as a result of not seeing my g/f so much I've gotten very touchy feely with them as of late. I apologize to those I know in real life and online. I only do it out of love and caring but maybe I do go too far sometimes.
Blah. I duhno. I need to clear my head.

11:32 pm - Youmacon - Sunday: "Day Four" or "All Paths Lead to Sky"
The fourth and final day began with an early wake up to take a shower and back. I had an noon checkout time so Hayden moved his stuff to Ray’s room while I packed my stuff in the car. SPD signed autographs in the auxiliary room (AGAIN). I felt really bad. The turn out wasn’t great. Even GrnPsycho didn’t show up and that was all kinds of odd. They were scheduled for three hours when most guests get two and there were barely there for one. Everyone went through the line twice too.
Ray had a load of rangerboard stickers still so I got Chris, Alycia, Monica, and Greg to each sign one. (Bruce had to leave earlier and didn’t make the signing.) They also each signed a SPD postcard (way to go Disney, you provide amazing posters at other conventions but only postcards in Michigan -__-) for me as well. I was flattered that Alycia again commented on my drawing. We also got a lot more photos including a group shot. I then asked for individuals, first getting one with Alycia and then Monica. I believe I said, “next!” and Monica yelled at Chris. He man at me and tackled me giving us a great shot of him all over me smiling and me with a deadpan look on my face. Priceless. (Should I mention the fact that when Chris got bored he signed the tablecloth, wrote "Sky" on it and pointed an arrow at himself and after the signing was over Lisa stole it?)
I also had to push Trist up to get his photos. Lisa helped with that one after she recorded the event. Ray grabbed a lot of extras to give away, probably in the VIP forum of the board. Everyone left happy with more than enough photos and signatures to last a lifetime. (Where were you Brandon and Matt?)
Grant soon left with his parents who came to pick him up. Kim followed. I have to say once again that for 12 Grant is a badass kid and was way fun too hang out with. We then headed back to Red Robin for lunch. Lisa, Ray, J.C., Bree, Hayden, Trist, and myself went while Myke, Mike, and Walt joined later at a nearby table. I watched the Detroit Lions vs. Arizona Cardinals game after convincing J.C. to enjoy a Strawberry Lemonade. I was more concerned about the Minnesota Vikings (my team) vs. New York Giants (Lisa’s team) game. After lunch we walked back to the hotel and decided to look at the main ballroom to see if the closing ceremony was worth attending. Oops.
There was a voice actor panel going on! Vic, Caitlin (also from Fullmetal Alchemist), the girl who plays Temari, Yuri, and JOHNNY were answering questions. JYB stole the show with every answer and as the panel ended they got burritos delivered and displayed them for all the crowd to see. Too bad they weren’t tacos.
They cleared out and the closing ceremony turned out to be just the crew of the con patting themselves on the back but Eyeshine did run up on stage, chasing each other around and pretending to beat each other up. It was beautiful. Afterwards everyone started to leave. We camped out in Ray’s room again just in time to see the Vikings kick a field goal to beat the Giants! WOO! Take that Lisa!
Trist left soon after that. Sad to see him go, knowing that everyone was slowly going to depart. I jested with Bree for a bit. She’s a Green Bay Packers fan so I have to give her a little crap. You know you rock in my book Bree!
Lisa uploaded some pics for the board from Ray’s camera and the next thing I knew it was 6 already and Lisa and I departed together giving hugs all around. I cruised her over to the airport. The poor girl had the Magiranger theme stuck in her head. We hugged goodbye (and I didn’t get stabbed!) and then I took off. After a wrong turn that took me too south and a look at a rest area map I was back on track, grabbed some Burger King and took a straight shot back home arriving nicely at 10 pm on the dot.
I got online for a while only to find out that one of my favorite wrestlers, Eddie Guerrero, had passed away that morning. It was a huge bummer to my weekend but I was so tired that I fell asleep soon after.
All together, it was one of the most amazing weekends of my life. I met so many people. It was great to place names to faces and chat up some people that I had never really talked to on the board much and now plan to talk to more (Walt, J.C., Bree...). Everyone was just so cool for the most part and the cast was just icing on the cake. I don’t have too much bad to say about anyone really. A few people had their issues but in the end it’s all good. I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.
One last note to all my Youmacon peeps... (the rest of y’all who jump on the bandwagon and say it too are just posers) ... FISHY!FISHY!FISHY!FISHY!

One thing I forgot to add from Friday. After the SPD meet and greet we ran over to the main ballroom and saw a good majority of the Eyeshine concert. Lisa had beat us there because as soon as SPD was done she ran and we hung around to chat them up for a sec. Thanks to it starting late, we saw a lot of action. One word of advice to nerds in general and this rule applies to me which is why I didn’t do it. Please guys, DO NOT DANCE. You are not good at it. When you can’t jump up and down properly even, you need to stop. But Eyeshine rocked in general. Johnny played to the crowd and just laughed it off when he messed up some lyrics which brought the comment from Ray, “that’s why they don’t have a record deal yet.” True, but ouch.
Also, Hayden arrived sometime in the middle of registration. I still don’t understand the whole Hayden vs. Myke (and later also Mike and Walt) rivalry. I still say they need to just get it over with and screw each other. It’d be so cleansing.
Anywho, this was the big day. We went into it hoping for another great meeting with the SPD cast after the unbelievable night before. I tried to stay quiet and let Hayden sleep while I showered and went down around 10:00 am because I wanted to see Fullmetal Fantasy. I ran into Trist again and asked if he wanted to come along and since he had nothing better to do he agreed and we took front row seats. I grabbed Vic Mignogna’s (Edward Elric’s voice in the show) autograph. Fullmetal Fantasy is a fan film made by Vic along with most of the regular voice cast dressed up as their characters and it was so hilarious. I recommend it for any Fullmetal Alchemist fan. Trist enjoyed himself and ended up buying volume one of the anime and I consider that to be a huge victory. Vic would be glad to know that his film made new fans.
After it was over the rest of the rangerboard peeps entered. I knew they would have been waiting for us in the lobby but since both events happened in the same room they found us in the front row waiting for the panel. It took a long time to start and someone (hell, it could have been me but I think it was Lisa) mentioned why there were six chairs on the panel when there were only five people. “Maybe White Hat Douche” would sit up there. Haha...
...not so much...
...it turns out he DID sit on the panel. He even stole Greg’s mic for a lot of it and turned it from an SPD panel into him asking whatever questions he personally wanted to. He monopolized a lot of the panel himself which was incredibly unprofessional once again. It was disgusting. And when he got bored he started playing with a Red Battlized Ranger toy directly into the microphone. Most of the good questions were asked the night before and today featured more kids asking their questions and Ray and Lisa each hitting them with a barrage of stuff. Ray asked the “What’s a Troobian?” question first which I had planned on asking. They didn’t give a great answer and didn’t really understand it. That was disappointing. All in all, the meet and great was much more intimate and provided more information on the whole than the real panel did. But Lisa, rocking as hard as she does, once again recorded it. The slide show they produced was amazing and she has stills of every shot. A few highlights include Chris shoving a blue coat down his pants, Boom with the other rangers posing, the Halloween party, villains half in costume and of course... Michelle rockin’ a popsicle like no one else can...
Afterwards I know Lisa got an interview with Bruce on tape. I was more concerned with getting autographs and giving Monica and Alycia the drawings I made for them. They all were great with the photos. The first with Monica was next to a mirror and Monica blamed herself for standing there. It did get Sam in the shot though. Alycia couldn’t believe I was willing to give her the original and have her sign a copy for me. Monica is also an artist so she was extra amazed and gratified. So awesome. I also quickly snagged Greg and Bruce’s autographs.
Ray handed out fliers for a party that night like a pimp before we decided to chill upstairs again for a few hours. This time we went to my room to look at SPD music videos and episodes on the computer. Three rolled around and we went downstairs for the Johnny Yong Bosch autograph signing back in the auxiliary room. The line was pretty massive due to JYB’s anime fame. It moved surprisingly fast. Grant got a nice autograph on an old Power Rangers book which he had bought from Lisa. It was nice. You could see a look of happiness and “oh God no” on his face when he saw himself in the costume with the helmet off. It was hilarious when the girl who plays Temari from Naruto (she was not originally scheduled to be there) looked at it and laughed. JYB said that the ninja suit from the movie is in a glass case at Disneyworld (I think, or someplace like that) without the big gold frog in the middle because he stole it. :)
JYB also signed my book, “Adam is better than Tommy” which rocks personally. I also collected a group Eyeshine autograph, an extra one for Katie’s friend, and I got Katie’s JYB drawing signed. He kept a copy and seemed impressed by it. There was another Naruto actor signing. I grabbed his signature too. Turns out it was Yuri Lowenthal who plays Sasuke. >.< I hate Sasuke but the actor was pretty cool. Great little session. Too bad it was so hard to get JYB’s photo but at least I did get it.
That was all we had scheduled for the day. Ray was throwing the party at 8 and we were hoping that the cast would show up but in reality most of us thought only Chris and maybe Monica would show up if anyone. We played on the computer in my room some more. I basically fell asleep until Trist got a call and I went over to Coney Island to pick Ray and the food up. I didn’t know he had even left.
On a side note, I just have to give a major shout out to Ray. He’s such a nice, laid back guy and he had to personally put himself out between $300-$500 for us in food and liquor and he had no reason to do that at all. Such an unbelievable person. A million props go out to Ray for the whole weekend.
So I picked him up and we all moved back to Ray’s room. I wasn’t one for the pitas he ordered so I went down to the main ballroom with Mike, Myke, and Walt to watch the masquerade. It wasn’t much to speak of and I bailed fairly soon. Back at Ray’s room the party was full but dead. I was starving so I bought some twinkies and watched Naruto back in my room. Hayden came by to inform me that WHD (Trevor) had come by and said the rangers would show up soon. So I headed back after the show and drank a little more. When Trevor finally showed up again with all five SPD peeps I was amazed. He did do a lot of grandstanding and tried to grab all over Lisa for some reason but if he really was the reason that got them up there then more power to him. They were already buzzed by the time they got there.
Alycia was a surprise. She clearly was the most reserved the whole weekend. But she talked to me, Ray, and Lisa like people. She wanted to know about us and that was totally cool. We were just people and not fans to them that night. I didn’t talk to Chris. He was over closer to the door talking to Berry and his wife for most of the party but he did rock the rangerboard sticker on his hat and name tag on his shirt. WOO!
Bruce brought up the show a little and I asked him about Trent. According to him Disney didn’t want Tommy or Trent to appear in it. That’s why Jeffrey wasn’t shown and he didn’t have to do Tommy’s voice. Disney only wanted the core three rangers. He also talking about being in Kalamazoo, Michigan where I’m from and working in a theatre I’ve been before. Very cool. Alycia also decided to explain the SPD morph pose. When she called Trevor, who thought he was so cool, the Fruity Ranger I died. He got served by Hayden who did the pose flawlessly while Trevor, after many tried and much instruction still couldn’t get it down.
Greg chilled a lot and was a very nice guy while Monica sat around and chatted everyone up once she got her smoke in on the balcony. Mike got a nice little video of “FISHYFISHYFISHYFISHY”. All we need now is Chris talking about the Liger. Soon after Monica and Alyica were on top of each other in the chair and Chris and Greg joined soon after. The rangers took of after about an hour or so. It was total fun. As much as I dislike his professionalism, props go to Trevor for getting them there.
So we chilled and talking about the passed day’s events along with Power Rangers in general for a few more hours. I headed off to bed (Hayden was already asleep after having way too much to drink) leaving Lisa, Ray, and a couple of others behind. Saturday was long but finally over leaving next to nothing for Sunday.
We seemed to have all our autographs. Anything left?
